The fuel fount from your 525 Heater should fit if your 1712 looks like mine above in the gallery. You need to hunt on Ebay in order to find that fuel fount.
I just bought a Perfection heater 1712 but I believe it has an after market fount and come without a flame spreader. I tried to fit the flame spreader from my 525 and and 735 heaters but they would
not fit.
Will a fount from a 525 heater work optimally on the 1712 heater or is there a unique fount for the 1712? Do you sell founts for 1712's?
The after market fount is only has an opening for fuel and does not a have a fuel gauge.
